“Can You Identify This Flower” ContestGale Glassner Twersky
I live in sunny southern California, however, this plant actually prefers the cooler temperatures. Nonetheless, this bush (hint: bush height, 35 inches) survived triple digits temperature this past summer and the summer before that. Can you name this flower? I think you will be greatly impressed when you learn its name. I can only speculate that it received some extra energy for survival because it grew right outside my office windows. After all, there is a great deal of positive energy creation going on within my hypnotherapy office walls. Maybe some of that positive energy reached out to nurture this plant. Who knows for sure? I didn’t even know to fertilize the bush; it just grew anyway. Yet, I do know some things about positive energy. It has some wonderful and far reaching effects on other living things besides you. So when you are positive, release negative feelings and nurture love and positive energy within your being, you are a powerfully positive human energy source!
If you are the first to come up with the name of the flower, I will send you my top seller, Relax, Release and Dream On CD, to thank you and congratulate your success. The CD will help you stay positive and sleep better while at the same time you are releasing negative emotions automatically. Just go to my website, galeglassner.com and reach me through the contact page. After I receive the correct answer, I will post it here with this article attaching an additional notice.
AND THE WINNER IS: VICTOR PIERCE from Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was the very first to identify this Ornamental Kale plant. PENWAH from NJ was a close second with her submission of “cabbage”. It is in that family.
As a special note, my gardener (he’s been a gardener/landscaper for 30 years) said he has never seen this kind of plant grow to this height and survive the ghastly heat of 100-108 degrees during both summers of its life. It’s just one more miracle that I have encountered upon my path. The bush is full of blooms as I will show you below. The blossoms continue to grow more each day.
