Maggie, Our Beloved Therapy Dog, Transitioned TodayGale Glassner Twersky
We celebrate Maggie’s blessed life of twelve years filled with all her unconditional love, her compassion and her being of service to all whom she met. She is responsible for several healing miracles and if she were human, she would be deemed a saint. Somehow cancer found her sweet heart and forced her early departure. For all those who ever knew of Maggie, our Bichon-Poo, please send her your prayers and love. Even if you never personally knew Maggie, your prayers and love are greatly appreciated.
I snapped this picture of a yellow rose in my garden and I am using it as a memorial for Maggie. Even though it may appear as a painting, it is not a painting but really a photo made from my phone’s camera. Notice how beautiful this yellow rose is and how perfect it appears in so many ways, just like Maggie. I will keep focused upon it as a reminder to keep focused on the positive things Maggie left behind. Most of all, it will remind me to express my gratitude for having been given Maggie to hold, to share and to love.
